If only you could see the real gold metallics in this Lamé. It is very gold and really shiny. Shiny gold. It is beautiful but you wouldn't be able to tell by these photos. We often think of Lamé as a special occasion fabric which makes for a garment that may not be worn very often but what is wrong with wearing a gold and black Lamé dress, knee length, with lots of volume during the day, any day of the week? This one is a bit scratchy so a close fitting bodice would require a lining which would make it even more luxurious. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Virginia had real good taste.
