This black and white geometric print is another purchase from Winmil Fabrics in Boston, Massachusetts. I probably purchased it sometime around 2014 or 2015, when my oldest son was attending university there.

I loved the electrifying geometric print, and the fabric has a nice amount of crosswise stretch. It has the crispness and structure that remind me of poplin, although I can’t say for certain that it is.

There’s also a little history attached to this piece. Winmil Fabrics opened in Boston in 1969 and remained in business for 47 years before permanently closing in 2016. I remember them for their quality and unique fabric selections—and this one certainly fits the bill.
