Rich and regal. Those are the first words that come to mind when I look at this fabric.

The combination of teal, black and white is striking, but what really makes this knit special is the placement of the print. When the fabric is folded lengthwise, the large, bold scroll design is reflected across the fold, creating an almost mirrored effect. I tried to capture that in the photos because there is so much creative potential in the way this fabric has been designed.

I had a similar print years ago that I made into a dress. It was cute, comfortable, and one of those garments that was simply easy to wear.

This lightweight knit is soft with generous crosswise stretch, some lengthwise stretch, and a clingy drape that allows it to follow the shape of a garment beautifully.

I purchased it from a fabric store in the New York City Fabric District several years ago. The store is no longer there, but this beautiful piece came home with me.
